Eastern Arunachal communities unite on a longest ‘Tiranga Rally’ to commemorate 75 years of Independence at Diyun

Diyun 13th August 2022: To commemorate the 75 Years of Independence as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students’ Union (APCSU) brought together the Student Unions, GBs, CBOs, NGOs, Social Workers, irrespective of any community, caste, creed, gender, political affiliations or tribe.

The rally started from Diyun General Ground to Sompoi, Balupather, Innao, Dumpather, Sompoi and back to Diyun. More than 1500 participants from Diyun, Miao, Bordumsa, Lohit, etc and making it one of the longest Tiranga Bike Rally in eastern Arunachal Pradesh that cuts all communal boundaries.

Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students’ Union ( APCSU) at the event also felicitated Mr.Bejum Kato Principal of Govt.Higher Secondary School Diyun and Mr.Kaniska Chakma , Principal of Mahabodhi School , Diyun for their effort to make thier students shine in CBSE Board Exams of tenth and twelfth this year.

Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students’ Union’s (APCSU) President Drishyamuni Chakma, the organizer of the event said, “APCSU organized this Tiranga Rally as a mark of respect to all great personalities who sacrificed their lives for the country”. He thanked EAC Diyun Shri S Roy, ZPM Shri Mukesh Deori, Police team, Medical Team, CCRCHAP President Shri Subimal Chakma, GBs, Student Unions, Mahila Samiti, all community CBOs and all the communities such as Singpho, Khampti, Ahom, Deori, Tangsa, Hajong, Chakmas for coming together as one at this event.”
