A country with uneducated youth cannot develop or even be on the right path.Education Minister S Rajen Singh believes in this so much that he planned and developed the education department. During his tenure he expanded and gave access of education to poor people and he also kept on improving quality of the educational institutions throughout the manipur state.
The education minister had launched School Fagathanshi Mission the objective of this mission was to improve education system of the state.Education to the children up to the age of 14 are free in the state of Manipur.
