Ex Education Minister Th. Radheshyam Heroic Story
Imphal: Retd. IPS Thokchom Radheshyam Singh Has served the country as an IPS officer until he decided to join Politics.Then he was elected to the Manipur Legislative Assembly from Heirok in the 2017 Manipur Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was the Minister of Education, Labor & Employment.
As a Education Minister he provided the study material for students to study online.
Th. Radheshyam’s Heroic Story:
MLA Radheshyam before joining politics he was an IPS and as IPS he got shot by 7 bullets. Regardless he got shot he didn’t quit. After that he played very important role in ending a big militant group.Because of this heroic he is one of the most loved politician not just in his constituency but he is loved by all over Manipur.
Th. Radheshyam did very good job in pandemic. While the work was stopped in the 1st and 2nd wave he made sure that people of his constituency get atleast essential commodities. He distributed food, sanitizer, mask. Not only that, he also made sure that the people get proper facilities if they catch virus.
Radheshyam made sure he reach out to public. Regularly he did interaction with public through radio,he collaborated with AIR and did regular interaction with people.
He also brought the students who went in different state for studies. He helped them and made sure that he bring each and every student safely.
