BJP MLA Th Biswajit congratulates N Biren over CM appointment

New Delhi:Manipur BJP MLA Th Biswajit on Sunday congratulated N Biren with a bouquet of flowers over the latter’s appointment as chief minister of Manipur for the second term.

N Biren, who was the chief minister in the previous BJP-led coalition government in the state, was re-appointed as the state chief minister by the BJP Central leadership on Sunday.

Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who arrived in Imphal with Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju, announced the name of N Biren Singh as the chief minister of the new state government to be formed.

Biswajit, MLA from Thongju, was among the few names that were doing the rounds as contenders for the next chief minister post in the new government.
