Minister RK Ranjan Singh calls for churning out innovative ideas
Imphal: Whenever someone starts a new enterprise in Manipur there are a few areas which they fail to consider although Prime Minister Narendra Modi encourages entrepreneurship and wants to invest money, our people must first change their mindset, Union Minister of State for External Affairs & Education RK Ranjan Singh stated while inaugurating an LPG bottling plant unit of Kangla Gas Solutions Private Limited at Khewa Company, Sagolmang on Monday.
Entrepreneurs must realise how will one develop Brand Manipur if A, B and C are all focused on a single product which happens quite often in Manipur, he said, adding that if they all create something like Chakhao then how will one identify their brand and extend it.
RK Ranjan cautioned that our society will descend into an abyss if people continue to imitate others like this owing to being too lazy to come up with new ideas.
One has to choose a particular trade to focus on for delivering the goods to the public because an entrepreneur doesn’t earn just profit but also generates employment, the union minister of state said, citing the example of Kangla Gas Solutions which currently employs 22 staff.
The Union Minister pointed out that Prime Minister Modi was precisely talking about such an employment generation when he was talking about providing a job to every working hand.
More jobs could be further created at newer branches and through the delivery agents, he said, encouraging budding entrepreneurs to refrain from being deterred by initial disappointment as failure is the foundation of success.
