400 chicks distributed by CAU Imphal in association with Manipur Innovation Society.
Imphal:18 Dec 2021 The Central Agricultural University, Imphal,With an aim for alternative income for rural womens, distributed 400 chicks to 35 women farmers of Sekmai Kanto Khullen, Imphal West Manipur. Concerning the affected village womens due to COVID -19 Shri Ph Ranjit Sharma Director Extension Education, has extended the generous support to the women’s farmers. Dr. Dipak Nath Dy Director told the various initiative taken up by CAU and many income generation training programe and advance agricultural technique imparting to farmers community, Sir Dr. Sushil Kumar Subject Expert CAU Imphal has also conducted a training session for poultry farming and various loan provision under Nabard, KVK, KVIc etc Shri Tongbram Tejkumar President Manipur Innovation Society appreciated CAU and also appeal to the officials for regular assistance and trainings for womens Farmers and apeal to general public for full implementations and 100% reached of Govt schemes to the public with accountability.
